SHAMROCK SHAKE
Well it's that time of year again. St. Patricks Day is around the corner and Shamrock shakes are all the rage! I never seem to crave them until month of March hits. However I know there must be TONS of chemicals in them and full of sugar. I decided to make this recipe with ingredients I can pronounce and be proud of using. Now keep in mind this is a milkshake, and not a green smoothie. It's not the healthiest treat, but MUCH better for you than one from a fast food restaurant. And I promise your kids will NEVER know how it got that green color! It'll be our little secret!
Here are the ingredients you'll need for this recipe:
- 1 - 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream (I like Publix organic ice cream)
- 1 large handful of spinach (don't be afraid, you won't even taste it, I promise)
- 6 - 8 ounces of your favorite milk (my favorite is cashew milk)
- 1 drop of Young Living Peppermint Vitality Essential Oil
- I use my favorite blender: Kitchenaid Diamond Blender
